In light of some interest that outsiders from "spin off sites" raised, we wanted to take a few moments to address their issues. We found that "spin off sites" have linked to our blog, as their obsession continues to grow. Nonetheless, let's address their concerns.

Regarding our traffic in terms of guests, members, and visitors, we utilize www.alexa.com to determine just how much interest our site generates. We find that Alexa is very user friendly because it gives clear data to use to draw conclusions with.

On the other hand, those "spin off sites" have traffic that is embarrassing and it is as a result of their sites lacking creativity, financial resources, and begging members to donate money to fund their "secret lifestyles."

Our site reached it's 1 year anniversary in late September of 2005, and taking a long look at our numbers and our site goals, we are confident that our site is heading in the right direction (See the History of NFLSD Blog).

Our site doesn't necessarily focus so much on raw data as much as it does meeting our fans' needs and interests. We enjoy bringing and keeping our fans up to speed on the latest happens in the world of NFL and NCAA Football, NFL Draft, Smack Off Tournaments, Arcade, and a fun environment to talk football.

We realize that those former members from the old site cannot get over their obsession with our site for several reasons that are far too many to list. We understand that they finally realized the mistakes they made with their greedy and power hungry methods of dealing with members. We know that you cannot let 1 day go by without obsessing about what we are doing at NFLSD and we get a lot of satisfaction out of that mentality. In fact, to generate dialog and interest, "spin off sites" create threads in their own forums because they know that without NFLSD, their sites would be without traffic (see photo of the sleeping crossing guard).

Remember, you can reply to our blog, however, if you violate any of our NFLSD Guidelines, your comments will be deleted. Our guidelines took a considerable amount of time for our Panel and Management to develop and we ask that you adhere to them. If you have any questions, review them:
