Why Are “Spin Off Sites” So Obsessed?

Before we get into our blog in a little more detail, let us review a simple definition.

Obsession: Obsessions, which are recurring, unwanted thoughts, ideas, and impulses that interrupt normal thinking or the domination of thoughts or feelings by a persistent idea or desire to spend long hours a day on NFLSD.

Now, one would think that after about 1.5 years that most people would move on with their pitiful, average lives and try and create a legacy of their own, not “spin off sites.” Their obsession with NFLSD continues to grow daily and they find themselves spending every waking moment viewing our Blog, NFL Draft, Affiliates, and Message Board and most would find that type of behavior just as disturbing as our staff does, but it humors us.

We understand the need for our members, visitors, and guests to enjoy our site and take in as much of it as possible. Whether they are listening to our NFLSD Media Player to enjoy their favorite football songs, spending time in the Arcade, or even placing bets on our vBookie, we know that they are truly enjoying themselves.

Why would members “spin off sites” spend some much time here, though? We will try and answer that puzzling question.

When one takes a long hard look at one of the “spin off sites” you see nothing but boring, non-football related material. You see porn sites and their site owner having the majority of his posts in that particular forum, and what does that tell us? He’s more interested in porn than football, therefore, one would think that he would turn his site into 100% adult content, instead of putting up a facade that the site is actually based on football.

He also removed his donation banner because he was called out on his scandal to fund his porn addiction. We also found out that the majority of his member base had left, as a result of the scandal, and it dropped his Alexa rating to almost being close to having “no data” and that is humorous, yet revealing because it goes to show that members are't foolish when it comes to scandals. They realized that the admin was using phpbb forum and claiming that he paid for the software. He constantly asked members to click ads and imply that the site would not remain free unless members donated and click onto banner ads. Again, he was forced to remove his donation banner.

The owner of the other “spin off site” is a strange person from Lakewood, Ohio. If you know anything about that part of the Midwest, then you know that is home of “alternative lifestyles” and you can bet that he does spend time in those bars near his apartment. Meanwhile, on his “spin off site” that symbolizes our napping traffic guard, his co-owner, Eric, spends time discussing bowel movements and his favorite 1980s movies in order to generate interest.

What can you expect from someone, who idolizes Vanilla Ice, works at Ben and Jerry's serving icecream, and who has been attending a community college for 8 years?

Now, when one takes a long look at both "spin off sites" you can easily see why they would spend the majority of their lowly lives, as one of our site leaders put it, "living in our shawdows." They’ve tried desperately to move on and try and find themselves but they cannot because their obsession won’t let them.

Now there is medication to treat that mental illness.According to mental health professionals, Lexapro is one way of tackling your obsession. Doctors have stated that 20-30 mg of Lexapro per day will help control your obsession and that it should help you to not spend as much of your discretionary time here at NFLSD.

If Lexapro won't help you, then maybe you need to spend several months locked in a padded room (see photo of man in straight jacket) so that you can try and rediscover who you were before NFLSD took over your life and consumed it.

Stay tuned for more public service announcements to help those obessed individuals here at NFLSD!
